“Simply unique”
Cité de l’Automobile
More than 450 exceptional cars gathered in a former Mulhouse spinning mill, including the famous Bugatti Royale.
In the heart of Mulhouse, a former wool spinning mill bought in 1957 by the Schlumpf brothers now houses the Schlumpf Collection, assembled in secret by two passionate industrialists before becoming a national museum. Visitors travel through more than a century of motoring history across more than 450 vehicles, from early steam cars to prestige models, with Bugattis taking centre stage, including the sumptuous Royale that belonged to Ettore Bugatti.
The collection is all on one level and takes about two hours to visit, brought to life by many experiences included in the ticket: interactive games, a karting track for 4 to 8-year-olds and activity booklets. A restaurant and cafeteria overlooking the racetrack, a bar and a shop round off the visit.
