Data collected through forms

Contact form

We collect your name, your email address, the subject and the content of your message. This data is used solely to reply to your request and is kept for as long as necessary to process it.

Newsletter subscription

We collect your email address to send you news, content and offers from Alsace Travel. You can unsubscribe at any time by simply sending a request to the contact address above.

Job applications / Recruitment

We collect your first and last name, your contact details (email, phone), the position sought, your availability, your message, as well as your CV and cover letter. This data is used solely for recruitment purposes. It is kept for a maximum of 2 years after the last contact, unless you object.

Form protection

The forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., United States), a service that checks that a form is submitted by a person and not by a bot. To do so, it processes technical data such as your IP address and the characteristics of your browser.

Your data is never sold or passed on to unauthorised third parties.

Third-party services used by the website

Interactive maps

The base maps are provided by IGN (Géoplateforme) and OpenStreetMap. To display the map, your browser loads the images directly from their servers, which receive your IP address.

Search by location

When you type a town into the search engine, the suggested towns come from the public API geo.api.gouv.fr, a service of the French government.

“Near me”

If you use this feature, your browser first asks for your permission to share your location. It is rounded to about 1 km, used only to display the nearest places and is not stored.

Fonts

The website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google) and Bunny Fonts (BunnyWay, Slovenia). These services receive your IP address when the page loads.

Use of cookies and trackers

Purposes

The website uses cookies to:

  • ensure it works properly, for example by remembering the language you chose;
  • measure audience and improve its content;
  • manage your consent preferences.

Some third-party services, such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, as well as other technical partners, may set cookies. They are only activated with your prior consent.

Consent management

The website complies with the IAB Europe Transparency & Consent Framework and uses consent management platform (CMP) no. 92, provided by SirData. It lets you view the purposes and the list of partners, and change or withdraw your consent at any time.

You can change your choices at any time by clicking here.

Legal basis for processing

  • Forms: your consent (newsletter), or pre-contractual measures taken at your request (contact, job application).
  • Strictly necessary cookies, form protection, display of maps and fonts: Alsace Travel's legitimate interest in providing a functional and secure website.
  • Audience measurement and advertising cookies: your explicit consent.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers, in particular Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Fonts) and Cloudflare, may transfer data to the United States. These transfers are governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, by standard contractual clauses or by other mechanisms recognised by the European Commission.

Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to alsacebooking@gmail.com.

You can withdraw your consent to cookies at any time from the consent management platform.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
